DISTRIBUTION CENTER MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

 Extensive experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and operating conveyor and sorter systems and electric/propane forklifts is requiredMust have knowledge and experience of current city codes and regulationsMust be able to read, digest and implement projects from blueprintsProven experience in system PM maintenance and event logging Able to teach/mentor others and team buildSystem enhancements and/or facility enhancement project involvementExperience managing a team of five or moreMust be able to work beyond normal business hours and respond in emergency situations at facility/facilitiesMust be comfortable with heights and confined spaces and be able to work in all areas of operation, both indoors and outdoorsMust be able to use standard root cause analysis and predictive maintenance techniques to assist in the resolution of equipment problemsThis person must be PC proficient and have excellent oral and written communication/interpersonal skillsMust maintain a clean and safe working environmentMust be open to travel as needed (5%)

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS ARE:

 Minimum of a 2-year degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology or equivalent experienceAt least 5 years experience in distribution facility in a technical, engineering, or maintenance position is requiredMust have PkMS and/or related WWS experienceMust have proven knowledge and experience with MS OfficeAbility to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
