Education Requirements:


· AS degree in appropriate discipline and 2 or more years relevant technical work experience or

4 or more years relevant technical work experience


Skill Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience in the semiconductor industry
Excellent oral communication skills
Demonstrated problem solving ability
Excellent written and oral communication skills 


Preferred Requirements:


 

AMHS experience
Automation experience
Proficient with MS Access, Linux, and Windows NT 4.0 operating systems


Job Responsibilities:

Proficiently perform general PC functions on a regular basis
Ability to work comfortably while supporting all safety, PPE, and cleanroom protocol procedures.
Understand and follow requirements documentation
Follow written specs and procedures  
Assist in solving problems and record observations during the data collection process
Complete reports when necessary
Follow test plans as defined by more experienced team members
Interact, support or assist manufacturing/production personnel in area of responsibility
Research opportunities for cost reduction and make suggestions/recommendations for implementation
May be responsible for a variety of toolsets, including tracking tool performance and assisting with plans for improvements.
Responsible for performing electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing toolsets/equipment
Responsible for dismantling, adjusting, repairing and assembling equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repairing manuals, rough sketches or drawings.  May also include equipment modifications as directed by Engineering.


Additional Job Responsibilities:

Must able to work efficiently in tight spaces.
Must able to work on ladders at heights above 3 ft.

Education: Associate (or equivalent work experience)
