ASSOCIATE MANAGER TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

Job Responsibilities:

Works with site departmental management to ensure that all employees and
contract labor understand how cGMPs impact the manufacture, testing, and
distribution of drug and medical device products. Designs, develops, and
implements, with input from Sr. Management, cGMP training programs that align
with BMS and MI strategic objectives and evaluates effectiveness of training
programs. Ensures appropriate personnel obtain necessary skills to perform
their job effectively and efficiently. Maintains a high commitment to quality
and compliance. Understands the regulatory and work environment to help ensure
a GMP state is maintained. Ensures a working knowledge and understanding of
current worldwide GMPs, related site procedures, corporate policies and
practices and pertinent SOPs by searching available sources, and incorporates
this knowledge into meaningful training courses. Manages and maintains
computerized systems used for the purpose of maintaining documentation of
training records develops and maintains training performance metrics. Acts as
resource for site training and education coordination and needs. Actively
searches out the needs of internal customers identifies training reso urces to
enhance the compliance knowledge and proficiency of each employee develops
training that addresses current needs. Delivers energetic training programs
that engage participants in acquiring designated job skills.

Job Requirements/Education:

BA or BS in Education, Communication, or equivalent. 3 to 5 years training
experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Demonstrated
knowledgeof worldwide cGMP and regulatory requirements for the pharmaceutical
and medical device industry. Working knowledge of core departments QA and QC,
Bulk manufacturing, Packaging, Compliance regulatory agencies, R&amp D,
Supply Chain and Distribution. Knowledge and understanding of computerized
systems i.e., ISO Train for the purpose of maintaining documentation of
training records and the development and delivery of multimedia presentations.
Knowledge in adult learning principles and concepts. Proven ability to convert
subjects and topics into factual, competency based training and education
sessions. Experience in designing, developing, and conducting multimedia
compliance training programs. Demonstrated effective communication and strong
interpersonal skills to impact, positively influence, and energize others
ability to work with teams ability to multitask in order to meet competing
deadlines ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
