Description

? Participating in the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory summaries, utilizing SAP to review, update and report financial transactions. Making recommendations on process improvements and accounting treatment.
? Preparation of inventory journal entries in compliance with GAAP and the company?s policies and procedures.
? Assist in streamlining monthly inventory close activities.
? Account Reconciliation of various inventory balance sheet accounts.
? Prepare financial statements. Reports, graphs, charts, presentations and analytical models to effectively communicate financial performance.
? Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley internal control objectives. Promote an environment of compliance and internal controls to assure the safeguarding of the company?s assets.
? Assist and support of the Division Controller in preparation of reports and schedules related to audits and other periodic reporting requirements.
? Compile inventory ad-hoc reports for management as requested.
? Implement the appropriate actions to promote financial awareness, accountability and responsibility throughout the organization.
? Assist in physical inventory procedures.
? Participate in annual financial audit and quarterly reviews.
? Provide timely and accurate financial information and analysis to all customers.
? Create an environment that fosters teamwork and improves associate satisfaction through professional growth and career development.
? Assist manufacturing associates at all levels with resolving inventory related issues.

Skills and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 2 yrs min relevant experience.
Minimum of two years of General Ledger (GL) experience including journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statement analysis.
Energetic self-starter requiring minimum supervision.
Experience with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent computer knowledge is a must (i.e., Microsoft Office Products ? Excel, Access/FoxPro, Word).
SAP experience a +.
Ability to work effectively with a team and interface with various levels within the organization.
