Actuarial Student

The Actuarial Student will be under direct supervision and performs actuarial tasks that are of a mathematical and/or high-level administrative nature.

Duties and Responsibilities
Compiles and categorizes data for experience analysis
Prepares reports
Prepares schedules of statistics, financial statements, premiums, reserves, and benefits
Documents and verifies factors used in computations
Participates in actuarial projects

Qualifications
4-year degree or equivalent in the area of Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field of study
Successful completion of initial SoA course (Exam P/1)
Continuing efforts to pass SoA courses to obtain an ASA designation
