Analyst 3 - Compliance
Under minimal supervision, analyzes the organization's regulatory programs and activities, ensuring compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
? Performs activities related to obtaining government approval for new products that are covered by government regulations, including the preparation of marketing applications.
? Participates in related government interaction and compliance activities within the organization and at contract facilities during and after inspections, or during regulatory actions initiated by government agencies.
? Reviews proposed activities by regulatory agencies to determine potential impact on the organization and advises management on such issues.
? Coordinates and assists management in the resolution of non-compliance situations.
? May maintain raw materials inventory and reconcile physical inventory depletion.
? Creates and distributes standard reports.
? Prepares reports to management, defining problem, evaluation, and possible solution.
? Maintains appropriate files, records and documentation.
? Assists in the development of department procedures and performance measures.
? Conducts special financial and business related studies as requested.
? Must maintain satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
? Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
? Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent from four-year college or university, plus 5 to 8 years experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
SKILLS
? Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
? Computer skill requirements include: Intermediate MS Powerpoint; advanced MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access; ability to type 55-60 wpm.
? Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
? Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
? Ability to perform assignments that are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity having appreciable latitude for unreviewed action or decision.
? Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of this particular field of specialization to the completion of difficult assignments.
