Corporate Executive Board (CEB) is currently seeking a Benefits Specialist to join its Talent Management team to help manage the administration of CEB?s benefit programs.
Responsibilities:
Manage the administration of all benefit programs for the entire company including medical, dental, life insurance, flexible spending, 401(k) plan, disability, FMLA, and worker?s compensation.
Negotiates with benefit plan providers, vendors, auditors, and consultants for services, premiums, and plan administration. Recommends benefit plan changes to management.
Maintains knowledge of and analyzes government regulations, benefit program trends, and prevailing practices among similar organizations.
Assists senior management in analysis and evaluation of services, coverage, and options available through insurance and investment companies to determine programs best meeting needs of organization
Analyze data from internal systems to enhance benefits offerings and increase proficiency of benefits processing and communications to staff
Manage discrimination testing for all applicable benefits
Oversees benefit communications for firm internally and externally utilizing a variety of media formats including company intranet, online benefits enrollment site and CEB external website
Manage targeted wellness campaigns for company benefits
Manages and coaches a staff of 1 to 2 direct reports
Candidate Attributes:
Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, strategic vision and analytical skills
Ability to effectively present information to top management and communicate at all levels of the company
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
Ability to make effective and/or persuasive presentations on complex topics
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Superior professionalism, discretion, judgment and grace under pressure
Attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
Must thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment and be able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Desired Background:
Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; PHR or CEBS preferred
In-Depth knowledge in the following areas: 401(k) plans, FMLA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ADA, Worker?s Compensation
Supervisory experience in a benefits environment
