Business Development Intern

Simmons Bedding Company, maker of the world famous Beautyrest mattress, is actively recruiting for a Business Development Intern at our corporate office located in the Concourse Office Park in North Atlanta

 

DUTIES:

?  Interacts closely with the Marketing department and SITE

?  Analyzes Simmons business

?  Develops account specific reports and presentations

?  Serves as a liaison between SITE tracking and New Product Development cycle

?  Research business models and strategies of retailers

?  Research business models and strategies of competing manufacturers

?  Manage mapping functions relating to special features and/or other merchandising initiatives

 

REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES:

 

? Experience with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

? Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively

? Excellent organizational skills

 

EXPERIENCE:

Entry level internship ? current college student
