Hitachi Consulting is actively recruiting for multiple openings in the Business Intelligence practice in our Pacific Northwest offices.

 

Position Description: Hitachi Consulting?s Business Intelligence practice is experiencing growth and is looking for a seasoned professional to help manage our practice in the Pacific Northwest.  The position requires a broad range of skills and the ability to step in to different roles depending on the size and scope of an engagement.  The qualified candidate would have significant experience architecting and managing the implementation of Business Intelligence solutions.  The position will require a person who can range from being the manager of an implementation team to being the sole resource on a project and working directly with the client to gather requirements, build a proof of concept and then implement the solution.  The qualified candidate will also assist in opportunity evaluation and leading or assisting on pursuits at new clients or within existing ones.Required5 ? 7 years of Business Intelligence project experience.  Demonstrated project leadership.  Demonstrated client/customer management.  Demonstrated full lifecycle solution delivery.Demonstrated Business Intelligence solution design experience. 

 Technical SkillsSQL Server 2000, 2005 a plusAnalysis Services 2000, 2005 a plusOLAP Front End Tool Experience (Panorama, Proclarity, Business Objects, Microsoft Office Business Scorecard Manager)SharePointMDXFunctional SkillsExperience managing Business Intelligence solution implementations.Experience determining project scope, forecasting project deliverables and working with clients to manage scope during project delivery.Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements.Strong written/oral communication skills.Demonstrated leadership working within a team environment.

 

Travel:  Potential of 100%.  Current consultants travel less than 25%.
