4 positions availableReports ToArizona Area LeagueStatusHourly non-exemptJob SummaryIn a training environment, works together with other Team Members to assure that all objectives &goals of the department and store, as communicated by the Regional Leadership/Coordinators, are met or exceeded. Provides excellent customer servicewhile serving and selling the highest quality foods. Abides by the stricteststandards of physical and food safety, freshness and sanitation.Essential Duties Assist and support the STL and ASTL with all store functions.Learn operations for all teams.Complete ASTL training program working hands on in each department.Follow through on all customer and team member questions and requests.Evaluate customer service and resolve complaints.Operate the store in an efficient and profitable manner.Have a firm understanding of store financials and labor budgets.Enforce established food safety, cleaning and maintenance procedures.Maintain accurate retail pricing and signage.Ensure that product is cross-merchandised in other departments.Coordinate, supervise and report physical inventory.Analyze product transfers, waste and spoilage.Manage expenses to maximize the bottom line.Provide, maintain and safety train TMs on all equipment and tools.Resolve safety violations and hazards immediately.Maintain store security and ensure that opening and closing procedures are followed.Establish and maintain good community relations.Create a friendly, productive and professional working environment.Communicate company goals and information to Team Members.Ensure and support Team Member development and training.Maintain HAACP, OSHA and Health Department compliance.Keep Store Leadership informed of all major events that affect the store.Ensure store policies and procedures are followed.Attend store and regional meetings.Regular attendance is essential.Perform other duties as assigned by Regional Leadership.Job RequirementsDesire to become an Associate Store Team Leader.A passion for retailing.Willingness to work in various stores within a geographical league.Extremely flexible schedule.Strong leadership and creative ability with a can do' attitude.Ability to inspire and motivate others.Management and business skills with financial expertise.Well organized with excellent follow through.Detail oriented with a vision and eye for the big picture.Must be self-motivated and solution oriented.Excellent merchandising skills.Strong communicator/motivator; able to work well with others and convey enthusiasm.Ability to maintain good relationships with vendors and the community.Love and knowledge of natural foods.Strong computer skills.EducationMust have completed Master program at a accredited college.Working ConditionsExposure to temperature variations and wet conditions.May walk and work on uneven surfaces.Requires reaching above and below shoulder height.Some exposure to dust, gas, fumes and chemicals.Repetitive use of hands with power grasping and fine manipulation.May need to use a ladder or stool to reach product or supplies.Exposure to continuous background and occasional loud noises.Walking surfaces are sometimes slick.Repetitive stretching and lifting required.Items over 40 pounds require a team lift.Physical RequirementsIndicates the frequency and number of hours in an average day the following types of activitiesare required (total may equal more than 8-10 hours for work done simultaneously):Activitycontinuousintermittent1/4 hour1/2 hour1 hour2 hours3 hours4 hours5 hours6 hours7 hours8 hoursSitting XX Walking XX Standing X XBending XX Squatting XX Climbing XX Kneeling XX Twist/Stretch X XPush/Pull X XLift/Carry X XThis job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the performance of thisjob.
