Channel Business Development Manager - Forum Nokia Americas

As a channels business development manager, you will be responsible for Forum Nokia sales and business development activities related to the Nokia Content Discoverer (formerly Preminet) ODP - On Device Portal software solution as well as the management of content/application/developers activities for Forum Nokia Channels partners in the US, including Nokia Business Groups, Wireless Operators, Independent Distributors, and Retails.
Drive US channels relationships that support distribution of Symbian and Series 60 based Nokia platforms.
Formulate and execute Operator and Channel Services in the US that include application match-making, application summits, code-camps, tech days, and content syndication.
Support US Business Development activities by facilitating and driving developer channel engagements.
Support marketing activities with channels in concert with Forum Nokia US and global marketing plans.
Manage and coordinate communication between US channels and internal stakeholders including Nokia Business Groups and CMO and be their main point of contact.
Create a positive view of Nokia to our customers and developers in the US and evangelize Forum Nokia's messages and initiatives to US developer and partner audiences.
Promote and provide sales support to Nokia US internal teams and other professional services related to the industry.


Requirements:
At least 10 years of business development or sales experience in mobile application/content development business in the US
Strong experience in strategic account management
Recent working experience with US Tier 1 wireless operators, preferably on mobile applications, software and content sourcing.
Solid understanding of US mobile market as well as strong relationships within the US Tier 1 Operators, Independent Distributors and Retails
7 years of working experience in the software or high tech industry in a business role required.
Experience with developer communities and developer relationship management.
Presentation skills to large audiences and outstanding verbal and written communications skills in English
International business experience and skills working in a multicultural environment.
Motivated by quantitative objectives and enjoys working in a fast paced changing environment.
Excellent organizational skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
University degree in business or engineering
