Chief/Lead Electrical Engineer

My client is a design firm primarily involved in facility, healthcare, laboratory and commercial design. I have a position for a Chief/lead BSEE/PE, working in the consulting engineering discipline. Chief/Lead Electrical Engineer- Philadelphia Qualified candidate will be a self-starter with 10+ years experience in power distribution (low and high voltage), emergency power, UPS, and lighting design for Healthcare facilities, laboratories and central plants, commercial building, and institutional. Design of fire alarm, building management, and security systems a plus. Engineering and project management capabilities to include development of design documents (single-line diagrams, distribution plans, panel schedules, specifications, etc. for construction), along with excellent communication and computer skills are important. PE required. The successful candidate for this position will be a degreed engineer (BSEE/MSEE), MUST be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Previous experience with Bio/Pharma, Commercial, Hospital, Light Industrial electrical design projects in consulting engineering environment will be a requirement. The successful candidates will be at a point in their career where they can lead other Electrical Engineers from a technical/managerial standpoint.
