General Statement of Duties:
Assists Client Sales Manager (CSM) with multiple technical and marketing projects supporting client initiatives. Coordinates and manages follow up and completion of client project details through research and information gathering. Participates in the research and resolution of client issues or tasks and ensures that CSM is informed and updated. Assists CSMs by participating in client marketing campaign program execution, client communications, reporting, and invoicing. Designs, orders and publishes standard reports for CSMs and researches data for analysis and recommendations. Assists CSM in development of client presentations, and completes publication of client meeting minutes.

Supervision Received: Reports to department CSM.

Supervision Exercised: No supervision exercised.

Examples of Duties: (Any one position may not include all of the duties listed, nor do the listed examples include all that may be found in this job.)

Coordinates completion of project details supporting client expectations by attending technical and marketing project meetings and aiding in the follow up of project details.

Assists CSM I or II with problem resolution on projects by keeping them informed and updated on a daily basis. Assists with research on projects, while providing suggestions and recommendations for problem resolution. Ensures specific points of contact are made and follow-up is complete for effective resolution of client issues.

Provides suggestions and recommendations for problem resolutions with client. Serves as a point of contact for day-to-day client / customer service inquiries, including handling escalated customer service issues communicated from the client, POS, MCI phone system or client Web issues/problems.

Assist CSM I or II in building and maintaining relationships with key personnel both internally and at assigned client organizations.

Assists CSM I or II with analysis of credit marketing programs for assigned clients.

Participates in client site visits on occasion for associate training or presentations.


Order, audit and publish standard reporting for client requests, and participates in explaining findings to CSM. Creates statement message criteria and sets priorities for messages. Provides recommendations on analysis of data for publishing final reports.

Assist CSM I or II in the development of client presentations, including delivery of all necessary materials for client corporate meetings.

Participates in internal and external meetings, and completes publication of meeting minutes when required to all necessary parties.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of credit marketing principles. Knowledge of operational support for client programs. Knowledge of internal reporting systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft software skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Effective analytical skills. Ability to communicate and interact with individuals at all levels internally as well as with other departments and external clients and vendors. Ability to research data and incorporate into standard reports that are used for others to make recommendations. Ability to work independently. Aptitude for detail, accuracy and consistency when completing job responsibilities. Ability to meet assigned deadlines. Ability to identify and resolve issues and problems. Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Operations Management or equivalent education and/or experience.

Experience: Two to three years experience in Sales, Marketing, Operations or strong related credit experience.
