Compliance Specialist (Section 8) - CAPITAL

We are seeking a Section 8 Compliance Specialist. This person would have a background in Section 8, with the ability to read and interpret regulatory/ compliance documents, seek out necessary information to complete an assigned task, conduct file audits (desk audits and in the field), prepare reports, follow-up on outstanding compliance issues with the goal of bringing the issue to a close, among a variety of other tasks.

2 to 4 years of experience in the field required.

This candidate must have the ability to travel at least 20 to 40%

Ability to rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Work under general supervision

Typically reports to a supervisor or manager, able to follow directions, and be a self-starter. Computer literacy is a requirement (Word and Excel a must)
