Contract Specialist

Analyze loan approval for SBL eastern Region to determine appropriate closing documentation required. Work closely with customers and our external attorneys in assisting them in meeting the loan's closing requirements. Coordinate the ordering and review of all appropriate UCC, flood, tax lien, and good standing searches with external attorney. Coordinate loan documentation for loan closing with external attorneys. Schedule a closing date and coordinate the attendance of all appropriate parties. Arrange for funds to be available at closing through interaction with accounting and treasury departments for wire or checks. Review all executed documentation post closing for appropriate execution and compliance with SBA and CIT Small Business Lending policies: Follow-up any post-closing requirements.
Minimum 3-5 years loan closing experience. Knowledge of SBA loan product. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word. Ability to work in fast-paced team environment.
