Contracts Administrator (1935) 

Carlsbad, CA (coastal San Diego area)

 

Responsibilities:
The qualified candidate will propose, negotiate and administer research and development and production contracts as well as other various other agreements for several advanced technology business areas. Ability to identify the key aspects of a proposed contract and provide inputs on risk assessment and mitigation is necessary. Individual will effectively communicate with various levels of management on contractual issues and serve as liaison between the Company and the customer. Candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to propose, prepare and negotiate various contract types to successfully meet Company objectives.  Up to 10 percent travel. 

 

Requirements:
BA/BS degree along with 5 years of experience negotiating and administering various Firm Fixed Price and Cost Reimbursement type contracts, as well as a knowledge of RFPs, source selection and negotiation process required. Must possess superior communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and excel at working with a team to reach extraordinary results. Candidate must be detail oriented, proactive, and experienced with all phases of government contract administration. Should have a broad working knowledge of the FAR/DFAR. Familiar with Value Added Reseller, Non Disclosure, Lease, Software License and Bailment Agreements. Candidate must be a US citizen.

 

Contracts Administrator (2185)

Carlsbad, CA (coastal San Diego area)

 

Responsibilities:

The qualified candidate will prepare quotes and process orders for standard TDL products, propose, negotiate and administer other contracts as well as various other agreements for the TDL business area under the general supervision of the TDL contracts management staff. The ability to identify and articulate key deal points and provide inputs on risk assessment and mitigation is necessary. Individual will effectively communicate with various levels of management on contractual issues and serve as liaison between the Company and the customer. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work within broad guidelines and general supervision, propose, prepare and negotiate contracts to successfully meet Company objectives and a willingness to think and act creatively to solve unique problems. Occasional travel may be required.

 

Requirements:

This position requires BA/BS degree with 2-5 years of general business experience, preferably including experience in negotiating and administering contracts or other agreements. Must possess superior communication skills, the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and excel at working with a team to reach extraordinary results. Candidate must be detail oriented, proactive, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Knowledge of RFPs, source selection and negotiation process, FAR/DFARS, Non-Disclosure Agreements is a plus. Candidate must be a US citizen and will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.  U.S. citizenship required. 

 

Contract Administrator (2205)

The qualified candidate will prepare quotes and process orders for standard Network Systems Group (NSG) products, propose, negotiate and administer other contracts as well as various other agreements for the NSG business area under the general supervision of the NSG contracts management staff. The ability to identify and articulate key deal points and provide inputs on risk assessment and mitigation is necessary. Individual will effectively communicate with various levels of management on contractual issues and serve as liaison between the Company and the customer. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work within broad guidelines and general supervision, propose, prepare and negotiate contracts to successfully meet Company objectives and a willingness to think and act creatively to solve unique problems. Occasional travel may be required.
