Platt Electric is searching for a strategic-minded, highly conceptual professional with the ability to delivery effective creative and strategic planning, copywriting, creative direction, graphic design, art direction and production management plus promotion and sales campaign solutions. This position reports directly to the President.

Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

Creative lead for Platt Electric in our online and offline initiatives

Exhibit high levels of creativity and initiative in developing marketing materials (i.e. brochures, printed materials, digital photography, catalogs, newsletters, promos, flyers, trade-show materials, press kits).

Must be able to produce your own work or direct the creation.

Develop, maintain, and manage our brand identity through graphic design and creative direction

Maintain consistency of design and brand identity on new and existing materials

Create and maintain Platt?s vision for the creative department

Create and execute sales promotions and events. Have the ability to develop all marketing materials to support these events.

Demonstrate strong business and financial skills

Drive sales and marketing awareness

Public relations liaison: communicate Platt Electric?s news to employees, customers, media and or community.

Develop, coordinate, and attend trade shows and promotional events

Qualifications: Must be highly enthusiastic and passionate about our business

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in marketing and graphics.

Must be a strong conceptual thinker and possess superior design skills with strong attention to detail

A demonstrated understanding of the importance of typography and the ability to apply

Must be capable of self management or to work as a team member

Proficiency in: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Quark and Adobe Photoshop.

Must have good writing and communication skills; be able to multi-task, and be well organized
