Credit Analyst

 

Scope of Role:

The Credit Analyst will have responsibility for a portfolio of North American accounts. Portfolio will include distis, resellers, and direct end user accounts. This individual will be held accountable for fulfilling various best-in-class goals as they relate to bad debt, aging performance, etc. Analyst will complete detailed financials reviews and make assessments as they relate to commercial risk.

Duties and Responsibilities:



The Senior Credit Analyst will be accountable for maintaining the credit relationship of a portfolio of various accounts including enterprise, disti, reseller, and direct end users. Responsibilities include successful collection of outstanding receivables, prompt reconciliation/resolution of deductions/disputes and performing an in-depth credit/risk analysis on new accounts as well as those requiring review quarterly, semi- annually, or annually. This individual will negotiate payment and/or write off settlements, review contracts, and utilize various security devices. The Analyst is also expected to prepare departmental reports in a timely manner and participate in process improvement projects, when required. The Analyst will be required to successfully balance credit/collection responsibilities while maximizing customer satisfaction.

Skills and Experience

- 3- 5 years credit experience.

- Requires strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Must be highly analytical - able to work efficiently and independently.

- Must be proficient in MS Work, Excel.

Qualifications and Education:

- BS - Business Administration.

- Able to develop and maintain a successful partnership with sales, order management, customer master, and various other internal and external customers.

- Able to work both independently and in a team environment.

- Must be a self-starter and able to adapt in a dynamic environment.
