Crewing Supervisor

Crewing Supervisor

Long Island based tug and barge company seeking Crewing Supervisor. Responsible for maintaining appropriately qualified marine personnel on board fleet of approximately 18 Ocean going tugs and 25 tank barges. Identifies potential applicants, process applicants, and reviews all paper work.

Arranges for pre-employment physicals and drug testing and recommends qualified applicants to senior management for consideration. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of United States Coast Guard regulation; must possess strong organizational abilities and be very detailed orientated; excellent telephone, writing and communications skills.
