Customer Service Representative

Reporting directly to the Customer Support Supervisor, this position involves high degree of interaction with final customers and retailers. This position involves interaction with Sales, Accounting, Operations, etc. Follow up, attention to detail, and professionalism are important factors in daily administration of this position. Position involves a high degree of organization skills and thorough product knowledge.
This key contributor answers all requests from internal and external customers about customer service related information. Responsible for taking part orders, handling inquiries and complaints, preparing reports, answering phones, data base entry, and operates all office equipment. Assists with processing claim forms, filing, mail/fax distribution, and special projects. Also responsible for clear concise communication regarding non warranty parts with dealers and customers, order tracking and coordination, and working with other departments to ensure Precor customer satisfaction.

Experience and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of customer service phone experience.
Presenting a professional and congenial phone manner (i.e.: tone, vocabulary, etc.)
Experienced at effectively formulating written correspondence.
Working knowledge of computers, experience with Word and Excel a plus.
Keyboarding 35 wpm.
