DOCUMENTATION REPRESENTATIVE - JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA

 

Summary:

 

Processing shipping documentation/bills of lading in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, and within the guidelines and laws of the destination.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

?  Timely submissions of completed documentation to meet manifesting deadlines and customs requirements.

 

?  Release of said documentation to respective shipper/forwarder in accordance with individual requirements.

 

?  Initiation of correction notices for error.

 

?  Send correspondence to foreign office with regard to correction notices or any communication necessary to affect the proper handling of cargo.

 

?  Invoicing of prepaid charges as required.

 

?  Credit verification prior to B/L release.

 

?  Research of financial report discrepancies for B/L's



Experience and Education Requirements:

 

  Bi-lingual (Spanish / English) REQUIRED
