Deputy Inspector

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Minimum four (4) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 

Working knowledge with ACI 301-Structural Concrete Specification, ACI 318-Building Code Requirements, UBC-Volume I, II, & III and Title 24-California Building Codes Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or

governmental regulations 

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals 

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public 

Good to excellent computer skills 

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and

solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to

practical situations. 

Ability to read specifications and drawings 

ACI Technical Certification, ICBO (ICC) Licenses, Valid Drivers License and proof of auto insurance 

 

Position Duties:

Coordinate staffing efforts 

Coordinate materials testing 

Invoices clients regarding work preformed 

Dispatch services and scheduling daily 

File reports 

Communicate and interact with clients 

Communicate with Project Managers the progress of each job 

Prepare bids/proposals for obtaining new work 

Communicate with accounting and resolve any/all invoice issues 

Attend all required meetings 

Follow company policies and procedures and all safety procedures
