Director, Marketing & Business Development, Flavors

Our client is an international supplier of natural ingredients for the food, health and nutrition industries. For well over 100 years they have combined their scientific knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit and strong commitment to research and development for quality products.

 

On their behalf we are looking for a Director of Marketing and Business Development in the Flavor industry with at least 5-10 years experience in b2b relationships in flavors. A Bachelor?s degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry or Technology.

 

Responsibilities include:

? Analyzing the flavor market.

? Identifying opportunities.

? Developing programs and action plans to achieve sales volume.

? Presenting market trends and new concept proposals to key clients.

? Monitoring of sales and development projects.

? Providing customer service to both internal and external customers.  

? Managing 2 Product Managers.

? Traveling at least 30% annually, some international.

 

Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Food Science, Food Chemistry or Technology.
5-10 years experience in business to business relationships in the flavor industry.
Experience must be in Flavors not just food.
Strong analytical and finance skills.
Experience with large platform software such as SAP.
