Summary:
Under the general supervision of the SVP Corporate Development, this position will drive alliances, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic relationships that are consistent with the company's strategy. Major areas of focus include the generation and evaluation of strategic opportunities, management of the due diligence process, financial modeling and analysis, and strategic partnership structuring. This role will be responsible for all aspects of developing and executing strategic relationships including origination, evaluation, structuring, negotiation, and completion.

Responsibilities Include:
Develop qualitative and quantitative methodologies to identify, prioritize, evaluate, recommend and execute strategic relationships (including alliances, JVs, acquisitions, investments and other partnerships).
Originate, analyze, structure and execute strategic relationships.
Participate in the due diligence process with multi-disciplinary teams of internal subject matter experts, external consultants, legal and other advisors.
Lead the financial modeling for valuation and structuring analysis (e.g. IRR, DCF, NPV, Accretion / Dilution).
Perform strategic analysis related to potential transactions including strategic rationale, market assessment, cultural fit and financial impact.
Interview and assess senior management of prospective strategic partners.
Advise senior management on potential strategic relationship activity.
Identify, originate, and maintain key external relationships required to generate strategic relationship opportunities.
Structure and negotiate strategic relationship contracts.
Collaborate on presentations to the investment community, board of directors and other stakeholders impacted by strategic relationships.
Advise senior management on financing alternatives for strategic relationships and their impact on capital structure.
Collaborate on the development of implementation plans to be executed following the closing of a strategic relationship.

Candidate Specifications:
BA in Finance, Business or related field, required. MBA strongly preferred.
Experience with Investment Banking and Private Equity
Minimum 2 to 5 years of solid experience in M&A execution.
