Distribution Tech

As directed and/or scheduled by Lead Technician, to store and deliver patient care supplies and equipment to all patient care areas of the hospital through special delivery or replenishment of Supply Carts. Delivers specimens to laboratory. Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent. Six months progressively more responsible training in a Distribution operation and automated inventory system, or equivalent. Must be able to read and understand written communication, write legibly, and communicate well. Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. above the waist, and move carts weighing up to 1000 lbs. when loaded.
