District Tech Manager

The District Technical Manager is responsible for the leadership and efficient management of the in-home technical workforce through analysis, forecasting and workforce planning. The District Technical Manager supports, directs, coaches, motivates, leads, and develops the Technical Managers.

Qualifications

Utilize workforce planning process to develop staffing requirements that allow for profitable growth and customer satisfaction.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Work with technical managers to ensure current and future staffing needs are met through strategic analysis and forecasting.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Analyze trends, market data, etc. to determine short and long workforce plans for the district.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Ensures technical managers are working cohesively on a daily basis to balance capacity/state of service issues to maximize overall district performance and customer satisfaction.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Develops the "ideal basic organization" by district workgroup, call load, unit and industry specialization based on annual estimated calls.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Monitors key performance to state of service, cost per call and productivity
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Reviews technical performance data with subordinates (technical managers) to identify performance improvement opportunities and develop plans to address the same.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Provides direct supervision to technical managers. Identifies and recruits the top ten percent of talent for technical manager positions.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Reviews customer feedback data and develops plan to improve satisfaction levels
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Generate growth, revenue, and customers for the business by holding the technical managers accountable for collect business, etc. - things that tie the customer to the business.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Recognize and act upon every opportunity to drive revenue through instilling the Value Added Services Program (VASP) throughout the district.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Partners with routing manager to adjust, improve, and compare actual hours to planner hours; conduct variance analysis by workgroups/call loads.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Represents DSGM in all technical operation discussions within the district and as requested by DSGM
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Partners with District Sales Manager to grow parts and services share by representing technical workforce capabilities.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Establishes contacts and assists in the management of 3rd party accounts (builders, distributors, apt. complexes)
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Partners with Human Resources in workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and union avoidance/contract administration.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Assist in the development and ensures compliance to ISO processes and company policies to ensure efficient compliant operations.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Demonstrate and foster teamwork within the technical teams, and with other Sears's units and businesses.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Maintain a high level of productivity, while supporting a high level of morale.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Travel as required.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Miscellaneous duties as assigned
