ERP Sales Account Executive-Atlanta based

High growth, stable company building their business one key person at a time. We have an opportunity for a software APPLICATIONS product sales professional selling into an established customer base in the southeast US based out of Atlanta.   


This opportunity takes perseverance, intelligence, professionalism, and strategic thinking to develop our customer's utilization of our quality products. I need someone who can go in and spread our umbrella of business offerings throughout the customer. Past success must be verifiable in application software sales, with minimum annual quotas of $1.2 million and above. I do not need a pure services sales person, but someone who has clearly excelled at software sales.


You will sell to strictly Fortune 1500 installed-base customers and you will be upselling and adding to their enterprise new applications products and expanded software applications from our product lineup. Your territory would be geographical and cross many different large industries. Prospecting the opportunity inside our client, qualifying, developing, and closing the software sale opportunities within your defined territory of customers that are active on maintenance. Forecasting and tracking of sales opportunities, effectively resource and lead an account teams to develop and close new sales opportunities, understanding industry trends, product capabilities and customer requirements, communicating value proposition to C-level procurement executives based on customer requirements are all part of success in this position. 


Your experience using sales automation tools, preferably Salesforce.com. Completion of major Sales Strategy and/or Account Planning training programs (e.g. Solution Selling) Effective time management skills. YOU MUST HAVE THE ability to articulate strong high-level company vision down through application specific benefits to succeed.Our products allow Web-based communication and information delivery from internal mainframe/server products across departments and operations while ensuring customer satisfaction within the enterprise.  You must have expert understanding of back office financial and HR applications, issues, processes, and systems involved in running major corporations as this will be tantamount to your success. If you have sold compliance, ERP, and/or process management software, we should talk.


Your proven ability to prospect software applications sales opportunities and manage complex sales cycles in Fortune 1500 companies with many stakeholders and for deals valuing in excess of US$100,000 will be used for consideration. We are a results-oriented company who consistently pays for above plan performance from our Account Executives


Requirements for consideration as a candidate:


Minimum of 4-5 years experience selling ERP SOFTWARE APPLICATION PRODUCTS (please, not services!) to installed base customers with proven success in consistently exceeding sales targets and annual quotas in excess of US$1.3M;  I need a hunter attitude in a farmer environment.


Verification of previous compensation and customer performance is to be expected for consideration.  Requires a 4-year College degree. preferably in a business discipline.


Candidate should be available for heavy travel, depending on customer mix--for success, you have to live at the customer level to find the opportunities throughout the enterprise and develop the overall business.


Position available in Atlanta metro area for southeast US coverage.


Excellent previous employer and customer references must be available during background check. Our compensation at plan is +$225,000. Base salary is $75-85,000 plus expenses and excellent benefits.  Travel all paid as business expenses.
