Electronics Production Manager

Production Manager needed with good people skills, technical background and ability to multi-task

SUMMARY; Serves as head coach for the activities of team members engaged in the production of product by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Studies production schedules and manages work hour requirements of team members for completion of product assignment in line with product estimates.
* Optimizes efficiency of production team in line with company objectives.
* Enforces safety regulations, maintains a clean work environment and fosters a team focus.
* Interprets company policies to team members.
* Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
* Recommends establishment of or adjustments to work procedures to meet production schedules with guidance from the managing partner.
* Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product in consultation with engineering and managing partner.
* Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency on production floor.
* Initiates or suggests plans to motivate team members to achieve goals.
* Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists team members in solving work problems.
* Recommends the organization and development of necessary job set-ups for assembly and equipment.
* Confers with others to coordinate activities to meet customer deadlines.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B.A or B.S.) from four-year college or university with one to two years' experience in the electronics industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
