Communication Consultant

 

A Communication Consultant is responsible for creating benefit communication campaigns for Willis employee benefit clients. This includes developing communication strategies, drafting text, managing production and delivering end product to client per strict timelines. The position is based in Radnor, PA in the Greater Philadelphia metropolitan area.

 

Primary duties

?  Write, proof and assist in the production of employee benefit communication materials, educational brochures and newsletters

?  Develop easily comprehendible text from Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), contracts and client materials

?  Coordinate internal, technical, legal, and client reviews and resolve issues raised during the review process to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the materials

?  Work closely with producers and clients to develop materials which cater to the client?s needs, budget and culture

?  Manage vendors such as graphic designers and printers

?  Coordinate print, fulfillment and delivery

?  Develop text for multiple medias including email, web and traditional print

?  Assist with proposal writing

 

 

Qualified Candidates must possess the following Skills/Competencies:BA or BS degree in communication or other applicable field preferable or equivalent work experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office products, Microsoft PublisherKnowledge of Adobe Illustrator and PhotoShop is requiredTwo or more years experience in benefit/insurance industry is recommendedGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work well with a teamDetail-orientation with good analytical and problem-solving skillsGood organizational and time management skills

 

Candidates should be prepared to provide writing or graphic design samples for consideration.
