Entry-level Sales Rep/Merchandiser

As a part of the Mudd-Lyman Set and Service, LLC team, you will be
trained to work in a home improvement retail store and you will be
responsible for:
* Full-time days (no weekends). Maintaining a department at one or more stores as assigned by your supervisor during our standard work schedule (7am - 4pm Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri; 1pm - 10pm Wed).
* Performing daily set maintenance - reprinting labels, packing down
stock where needed, installing/replacing/swapping out point-of-sale
materials.
* Ensuring that the set matches a provided plan-o-gram (POG).
Installing updated POG's at the display when necessary.
* Ensuring that cross-merchandising is set and executed properly.
* Ensuring that special projects as assigned are completed.
* Meeting with store associates to process returned items per
manufacturer specifications.
* Utilizing a handheld PDA which acts as a timeclock, and details the
tasks to be completed. The PDA will capture your answers to questions
asked of you about the required tasks. You will be required to take
digital pictures of the tasks performed (before and after), and you will
be required to synchronize the PDA via modem at the end of each workday.
* Participating in regular conference calls with Company managers.
* Other tasks as may be assigned by the Company.
Training and medical and dental provided.
Notes:
This position requires substantial amounts of physical labor, and
requires lifting between 0 and 60 lbs (weight varies by item). The
environment is a working warehouse, and although it is generally indoors
you may be exposed to dirt, and dust - it is very likely that you will
get dirty while working.
This position may require working on stationary ladders at heights from
0 to 16 feet for extended periods of time.
When working on the lowest levels of the displays to meet the
requirements of this position, you may need to squat or kneel for
periods of time.
Candidates must have reliable transportation to work, must pass
drug/alcohol and background tests, be at least 18 years of age and able
to work without restriction in the U.S.A.
Candidates should be familiar with the use of a handheld personal
digital assistant (PDA), digital cameras, and voice mail systems.
