Environmental Health & Safety Specialist

The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for the promotion of a safe and healthy work environment. Promotes continuous improvement of safety and health systems that result in the reduction of accidents and illness, and assures regulatory compliance.  The EHS Supervisor develops and directs the implementation of safety programs and assures management takes the actions needed to raise employee awareness regarding safety.

 

Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree, ARM (Preferred), 10 years safety experience in a manufacturing environment with a 300+ employee manufacturing plant. Comprehensive knowledge of: OSHA Regulations, workers compensation, and safety management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience is MS office products. Solid experience with accident investigations and reporting, and management and employee training.
