Environmental Health and Safety Manager

We are in current need of an

 Environmental Health & Safety Manager

 

The Environmental Health and Safety Manager is responsible for promoting a safe and healthy work environment, continuously improve safety and health systems that results in the reduction of accidents and illness, and assure compliance. The Environmental Health and Safety Manager develops and directs the implementation of safety programs and assures management takes the actions needed to raise employee awareness regarding safety. This person will also perform periodic environmental and safety inspection audits of the facility and initiates corrective action to reduce cost and injuries and provide a safe working environment.

 

Must have two plus years experience as an EH & S Manager. Working knowledge of Federal, State and Local Regulations and Industry requirements. Computer literate word, excell, and presentations software. First Aid/CPR training and Bachelors degree preferred.
