Estimator
Job Purpose:
Prepares cost estimates by analyzing blue prints and specification for commercial flooring projects such as schools, apartments, and hospitals.
Duties:
? Prepares work to be estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and relates documents.
? Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and project requirements.
? Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information from contractors, architects, and owners.
? Presents estimate to project managers by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information in preparation to prepare bids to client.
? Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
? Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.
? Creates and maintains relationships with contractors, architects, and owners to promote business.
? Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing relates results as needed.
Skills / Qualifications:
Analyzing Information, Estimating, Planning, Report Research Results, Data Center Experience, Strategic Planning, Attention to Detail, Informing Others, Requirement Analysis, Strong Computer Skills.
