Fire Chief

An excellent opportunity exists for a dynamic Fire Chief, with previous proven experience.   

 

TEAM Integrated Engineering, Inc. is looking to staff a project on the West Coast of USA.

 

Job Description:

The successful candidate shall respond to all fires, alarm activations, and emergency responses and remain on-scene for the duration of the emergency.

Maintain liaison and foster good relations with local emergency responders and fire representatives.

Brief facility managers and commanders as needed on the state of fire prevention within their facilities and problems encountered.

Administer, review, and maintain the base regulatory fire prevention publication.

Report all fires and emergency responses to be in compliance.

Provide fire protection briefings and training for the facility.

Provide both scheduled and no-notice fire protection inspections for the facility; conduct monthly fire drills; document any hazards or deficiencies and perform subsequent tracking and follow-up; document all inspections with fire prevention inspection report; evaluate fire hazard reports and assign risk asessment codes to the fire-related occupational and environmental hazards to be in compliance; prepare pre-fire plans for all new facilities.

Provide fire protection review and coordination of all facilities' designs, projects W/Os, and other work source documents.

 

The candidate must be certified to the following NFPA standards: Fire Inspector III, Fire Inspector II, and HAZMAT awareness.
