SBM Site Services is a national facilities support organization with 24 years of experience providing janitorial, general building maintenance and environmental awareness for many Fortune 500 companies. ?We are seeking a Fire Safety Program Coordinator to supportt our local campuses to ensure compliance with all regulations specified by the local jurisdiction for fire stopping and fire rated assemblies

Responsibilities include:Serves as primary interface on campus and building projects with vendors and contractors, as related to firestopping Direct contractor PM?s and repairs General contractor coordination Parts procurement Maintaining of sustaining buildings and provide continuous improvement ideas Maintaining of inspection calendar and track completion of scheduled items Managing of firestopping projects and reporting Inspection of fire rated walls and assemblies Periodic repairs of fire rated walls and assemblies

Essential/Required:3+ years work experience in fire protection Experience with development of presentation materials, fire pre-plans, and facility layout drawing development Knowledge of Fire Protection Systems (water-based fire protection systems, gaseous fire protection systems, fire barrier and penetration seal design, fire alarms systems, fire detection systems) and their design, operation and maintenance requirements. Knowledge of the National Fire Codes (NFPA) and industrial standards and practices as they relate to fire protection Ability to travel
