POSITION OVERVIEW:

Group Program/Project Manager
?Manages daily activities of Supply Chain Operations team for Tellabs 5500 and additional product lines. Develops processes and procedures that are aligned with the organizational culture. Ensures that the team meets its strategic and tactical goals and maintains high performance to Key Process Indicators.
?Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
?Exercises judgement in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
?Makes decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations? effective achievement of objectives.
?Interact with supplier management and other senior managers to achieve organizational goals.
?Directs and controls the activities of the Supply Chain Operations team for the Tellabs 5500, including overall responsibility for planning, budgeting, implementing, and maintaining costs, methods and employees.
?Establish strategic and tactical direction, set performance standards and provide team leadership.
?Oversee management of all projects managed by multiple project managers.
?Responsible for planning and directing schedules.
?Report project status and metrics to division and senior management for all commitments.
?Ensure financial commitments are well managed and cost justified.
?Capture and utilize best practices.
?Assist in providing current and future program directio



QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's /Master's Degree plus 8-10 years project management experience and 10-12 years business experience



YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 10 years

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree

TRAVEL PERCENTAGE: 11-25%

SHIFT: 1st Shift
