We are a privately owned company that has been in business for over 34 years.? Currently we are seeking an HR Director for our corporate headquarters in Chesterfield, MO.? This person reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities Include:

The ideal candidate will have a generalist background with a STRONG focus on recruiting.? You will lead the corporate efforts to recruit and hire great people.? As the HR Director you are also responsible for leading our efforts to retain top talent and bring out the best in our most valuable asset - our people!
?
In addition to recruiting and retention, your role will focus on employee relations/communications, benefits administration, and policy.? HR plays a key role in contributing to the overall corporate culture.
?
You will be responsible for planning, directing and carrying out policies relating to all phases of personnel activity.
?Identify top notch talent for SANSONE.? Attract the best and brightest to our organization.? You will recruit, interview, and select employees to fill vacant positions.Ensure consistent/legal employee relations practices using knowledge of employment law in combination with company policy, procedures, and practices.? Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations (i.e. FLSA, FMLA, COBRA, etc.)Manage company performance evaluation processLead renewal process of employee benefits.? Work with insurance broker to evaluate benefit plans.? Suggest new benefits and changes to existing plansExperience in payroll processing using ADP a plusManage day to day benefits administration.? Act as liaison between employees and insurance providers.? Resolve benefit related problems and ensure effective utilization of plansCounsel managers in performance management and interpretation of human resources policies and practicesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and trendsProvide communication to managers and employees on HR practices and policy changes, benefits announcements, etc.Keep record of insurance coverages and personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, terminations, etc.Oversee employee complaint investigations.? Work closely with counselExpert HR knowledge as a generalistIn-depth knowledge of local and Federal employment lawAbility to work independentlyExpertise in advising and coaching managers and employees at all levelsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to effectively manage conflict and competing priorities

Educational & Work Experience Requirements:
?Minimum of five-to-seven years in human resources with deep experience in recruiting, employee relations, benefits/administration, writing/implementing policies and procedures, performance management, employee communications and training/developmentBachelor's degree in human resources, business, behavioral or social sciences, or related fields
?
