HR Manger

Employee Relations: - Obtaining cooperation and buy-in to regional and local goals in its relationships with hourly and salaried employees
- Maintains labor relations by ensuring the relationships between the business and its people are healthy, open and collaborative througheffective communication, problem solving, reward and recognition, and other HR processes. Also, lead the charge to maintain best practices in contest or collaboration with a union committee.
Performance Management
- Provides managers with appropriate tools and processes to manage performance
-Acts as a coach and source of advice on performance and related issues.
Communication
-Utilizes processes and practices in place to ensure that employees are engaged and motivated and are clear about what they have to do to deliver.
Capability Development
-Works with plant managers and line managers as coach and developer of others.
-Develops self and HR team to be best in class HR function and develop further to meet future needs
Organization Development
-Provides advice and coaching on job design
-Draws on organizational effectiveness and Center of Excellence for specialist support, where applicable.
Learning and Development
-Puts key processes and capabilities in place to support Supply Chain knowledge agenda

Requirements

Minimum 5-10 years HR experience in a consumer goods manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree preferable with a concentration in Human Resources
Industrial labor relations experience preferred
Spanish speaking is a plus
Understanding labor legislation
Experience as part of contract negotiation teams creating/contributing to the strategy, compiling data and fact base, strong understanding of process and negotiation skills a plus
