Home Theater Installation Technician
Home Entertainment Expo / ADTECH Systems, Inc. is a full service residential technology integrator. We design high end residential audio & video systems including plasma television, custom home theater, 5.1 audio, whole house audio, and numerous control systems. Sample products lines include Crestron, Runco, Genelec, Paradigm, Integra, and Lexicon are a sample of the product lines that we offer.
In this position, the Installation Technician will be responsible for the following:
- Installation of home theater systems, whole house audio systems, multi-use media rooms including projectors and flat panel display devices.
- Installation of termination points including cat-5, coax, speakers, satellite, cable television, and telephone.
- Installation of whole house audio systems including speakers, volume controls, keypads, LCD touch pads, control systems,AV components, projectors, and plasma televisions.
- Working with the project manager and sales team to determine the best product and design for a successful completion.
- Working closely with the installation team and initially take direction on projects from project managers.
- Other tasks associated with custom residential installation which include, but are not limited to, structured wiring installations, terminations, component installations, programming, and attending project meetings when required.
- Knowledge of basic programming of remote controls a plus.
- Candidate must have a valid drivers? license.
An initial 45 to 60 day trial period will be afforded, during this time you will become familiar with the audio visual technology and the current practices and policies.
