We are growing again and seek a
REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF HOTEL AudioVisual OPERATIONS.
The Challenge (is it you?)??.
This is a unique opportunity.
Based in Orlando, FL, the Regional Director will oversee 9+ hotel locations, coordinating, grooming, fine-tuning ? yet always conscious of profit. The Regional Director will oversee an existing professional and very talented staff, about two dozen of the best employees in the industry.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure profitability in regional hotels; Visit hotels on a regular basis and develop & nurture Hotel relationships; develop ideas for generating revenues.
- Develop annual budgets; Analyze revenue and P&L; Monitor expenses; Track Labor-to-Sales; Monitor regional Labor usage & coordinate resource-sharing; Generate detailed reports.
- Mentor Hotel Directors; Create MBOs; Provide daily support; Promote customer service skills; conduct bi-weekly conferences.
- Interview prospective staff; Monitor expense and time reports; Employee reviews; Process Purchase Orders.
What we expect (qualifications):
- Solid verifiable experience as a manager or supervisor in the commercial AV hotel industry.
- Existing familiarity with the latest audio visual equipment, technologies, and capabilities.
- Prior verifiable experience managing or supervising a diverse, talented, creative, dedicated staff.
- A track record of maintaining and improving momentum, reputation and profitability.
- Exceptional verbal, written skills, and PC proficiency. College degree preferred, but not essential.
