Instructional Designer/Developer

The Instructional Designer/Developer will be responsible for the design and development of instructional products for the Zaxby?s Franchising, Inc. and franchisee audiences. This position will assist in various multimedia developing duties. The Instructional Designer will work closely with the Multimedia Developer.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

?  Design and develop curriculum outlines and courseware

?  Research, analyze, and synthesize information to develop courses

?  Perform needs assessment to identify skill gaps or current performance/knowledge versus desired  performance/knowledge

?  Evaluate and assess course materials for effectiveness and impact

?  Evaluate training initiatives and determine return on investment for various training programs

?  Design course materials to support blended and online learning

?  Develop Train-the-Trainer sessions on all new and updated course material

?  Create scope documents, design documents, storyboards, and other materials for blended and e-learning solutions

?  Manage projects through each lifecycle of the instructional design and development process

?  Assist in multimedia development efforts

?  Gather and create graphics and images

 QUALIFICATIONS

  **  B.A. in Instructional Technology or related field; M.A. preferred**Working knowledge of instructional designWorking knowledge of instructional product evaluationWorking knowledge of SCORMProject management skillsGraphic design experienceProficiency with multimedia and authoring tools such as Macromedia Suite, Lectora, etc.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
