Job Description


 


Internal auditor to perform HQ operational/financial audits ensuring appropriate level of controls are in place. There will be a focus on Sarbanes Oxley and candidates MUST have had some previous exposure to S.O. The HQ Auditor will also participate in select Business Unit/Market Unit audits and international audits.


Principal Operational Auditing Accountabilities:
Leads Operational Audits following a prescribed Audit Program;
Communicate Audit Issues with local management in a professional and direct manner;
Develop audit programs for first time audits;
Work with other BU Auditors in balancing National Audit coverage;
Recommend improvements to Audit program to improve overall control environment;
Perform Spot Reviews of specific issues as they arise;
Facilitate Best practice sharing across BU/MU boundaries to improve control environment;
Participate in Acquisition Integration pre and post closing, recommending changes to align control environment with other company entities;
Influence Local Management to improve control environment to meet company standards;
Write Audit reports and assign an Audit Rating that clearly outlines the control environment;
Follow-up with local management on all Audit issues to ensure satisfactory resolution.



Requirements


3+ years public accounting with in-charge experience; 4 year accounting degree;
MBA or CPA preferred.
