Inventory Control Analyst

The Woburn, MA facility of Sanmina-SCI is looking for an Inventory Control Analyst.

This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating data related to inventory as well as making recommendations on implementing corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy and driving continuous process improvements.

To be successful, the qualified candidate must be able to: develop working relationships with management and other departments within Sanmina-SCI; be actively involved in the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly activities of the materials department; generate weekly reports (M3K Metrics/Evaluation); develop and maintain an appropriate level of understanding of materials information/flows in all business processes related to inventory; identify and perform in-depth inventory analysis with the ability to perform ABC Stratification; develop the ability to generate common part numbers, waterfall charts and liability analysis and become an integral participant in the M3K audit process.

 

Qualifications:

BA/BS in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.  Strong quantitative and analytical skills as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally required.  Experience with ERP systems such as ORacle and report writing tolls such as Discoverer to extract data is preferred.  Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and adjust to changing priorities will be key to success.
