Reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the assembly of orders of monitoring equipment at the request of Order Entry as well as ensuring all inventory goals are met and assisting in the development of strategies required to ensure the highest level of services, efficiency, and effectiveness from the department. This Shipping & Receiving Supervisor will also be responsible for the hiring, disciplinary actions up to and including dismissal and interviewing potential associates for the department and will be the main contact person for building maintenance and repairs.
Ideally the successful candidate will be self motivated, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be customer focused.
Applicants must have an AA Degree or a minimum of two - three years of warehouse and inventory management experience and a minimum of three years of customer service management experience. Applicants must also be proficient with MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Word, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Projects, WMS, and MRP systems.
The ideal candidate will have some familiarity with ISO or Six Sigma.
