LAB TECHNICIAN

Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases and chemicals, has immediate openings for Lab Technicians at our Electronic Chemicals facility in Austin, Texas.

Lab Technicians are responsible for 'in-process' wet chemical analysis in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Individuals will be responsible for analysis of plating bath solutions using HPLC techniques, potentiametric titration, and cyclic voltrometry.

Background in HPLC (High Pressure/Performance Liquid Chromatography) or IC (Ion Chromatography) preferred.

Candidates must have strong communications skills, both oral and written. Must perform work with minimal supervision. Candidates must also be able to work 12-hour compressed work weeks.

A BS in Chemistry, or related field, and minimum 1 year experience in chemical analysis is required.
