Lead Program Manager

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

?Management of cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a software design product/computer based system through the entire development lifecycle (from requirements generation through to final product delivery). Plans and directs project schedules. Monitors the program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with engineering and marketing on technical matters.

 

?Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the program/project on schedule. Assigns and monitors work of program staff, providing technical support and direction. Must be comfortable operating in a matrix type of organization, where the position does not have responsibility over product development but does have overall program/project management responsibility.

 

?Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.

 

?The ideal candidate with possess a minimum of 5 years of solid, successful program management experience leading complex programs, preferably in software development environment. This includes the ability to assess the accuracy of plans and information and the ability to apply that understanding to create realistic schedules  and project plans; experience developing and implementing process changes within an engineering organization; the ability to create cross functional schedules applying analysis and forecasting techniques.

 

Minimum Education Required / Minimum Experience Required :

4-Year Degree 5-8 or more years of relevant experience in Program Management of EDA / Software Development and project leadership of a multi-person project.
