Leasing Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform lease versus buy analyses on all potential leases, maintain access database of all leased equipment, prepare lease purchase orders for leasing company and equipment manufacturer. Process lease documents and keep electronic documentation up to date and work with Strategic Sourcing group to manage compliance with corporate pricing agreements with equipment manufacturers. Evaluate and designate preferred leasing companies on an annual basis, updating and preparing forecast of annual equipment leasing requirements, annual RFP for material handling equipment, valued at between $6-8 million. Develop list of qualified leasing company suppliers, submit request for proposals to, and negotiate with, qualified leasing companies to secure most favorable rates for new equipment lease program. Work with leasing companies regarding end of lease options on equipment, including obtaining most favorable early termination options as needed. Coordinate with leasing companies regarding return of equipment at lease expiration, including agreement upon condition and any excess wear penalties. Work with TI legal department and leasing companies to make sure documents meet company standards, equipment manufactures and plant locations to understand specific needs for leased equipment, and determine appropriate options. Represent our operations when we experience equipment failure to meet requirements, or any other supplier issues and provide current leased equipment information/analysis to plant locations as needed. Approve and code lease invoices monthly to ensure timely payment, and follow up to resolve any delinquent charges, annually provide summary lease data to financial external reporting group, Implement and improve automated lease payment options, working with Accounts Payable and leasing companies, wherever possible. As a member of the Finance & Administration department, provide requested support for other team members and provide data to Strategic Sourcing group on various types of equipment to support sourcing projects.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related business degree required, 5 years of manufacturing related experience, 2 years in finance related disciplines, and strong working knowledge of accounting and business law.
