Summary
Provides logistic and engineering solutions in coordination with CTSC management, Deployment and subcontractors that ensure effective and economical support of newly deployed and legacy Non Intrusive Inspection (NII) equipment. Advises on product workflow, analyzing and developing logistics plans and technical documentation. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution, new equipment ILSPs, deployment schedules and Life Cycle Supportability to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Individual must be familiar with standard logistical elements and concepts, practices, and procedures. Must also be familiar with engineering principles that involve quality assurance. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

oProvides logistic and engineering solutions for Enforcement Technology Center (ETC) ensuring economical support of newly deployed and legacy NII equipment.
oCoordinates program activities and engineering objectives with deployment, CTSC management, subcontractors and the customer.
oAnalyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, and design changes to plan and develop program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product.
oConduct and participates in ILS and IPT assessments, which focus on in-depth analyses of processes, standards, technology, and organization.
oCreates and reviews procedures for distribution, new equipment ILSPs, bulletins, deployment schedules and Life Cycle Supportability to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
oCompiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities.
oAssesses logistic support sequences and time phasing, problems arising from location of operational area and other factors such as environment and human factors affecting personnel.
oPerforms special research or technical studies critical to logistic support functions.
oPerforms trend, failure and root cause analyses.
oPrepares technical reports and presents findings to management and the customer.
oAssists with performance and reliability reports.
oPrioritizes and recommends best-practice improvements for ILS support, including the areas of software productivity, graphic displays, and database management.
oMay develop standard operating procedures.
oConducts process improvement and organizational development procedures.
oPossesses knowledge of ISO certification.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience
oRequires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent in an appropriate discipline with 6-8 years of experience in the logistic engineering arena or in a similar area.
Software Knowledge
oProficient in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and Outlook.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
o Must be able to obtain a Treasury Background Investigation

Work Environment
oOffice type environment with temperature control.
oModerate travel required.
