Mailroom Assistant

As a Mailroom Assistant you will be processing incoming and outgoing mail, preparing products for shipping, filling orders for shipping, keying outgoing shipments in the computer system, preparing shipments for all customers' updates, and performing special duties as assigned. We are looking for an energetic individual who has good communication skills and can work a flexible work schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

o Processing incoming and outgoing mail
o Prepare products for shipping.
o Fill orders for shipping.
o Key outgoing shipments in computer.
o Prepare shipments for all customers' updates.
o Perform special duties as assigned.
o Prepare monthly reports for postage and other documented areas
o Primary interface with Marketing: prepares shipments for trade shows, new hires, customer promotions
o Backfill for other members of Operations team as needed

Qualifications:
o Working knowledge in Microsoft word and Excel
o Ability to work independently
o Attention to detail and ability to apply principles to varying situations
o Must have the ability to follow directions at a level necessary to accomplish the task
o Ability to perform repetitive functions with high degree of accuracy
o Ability to resolve problems effectively
o Must to able to handle multiple tasks
o Self motivation with the ability to work without direct supervision
o Must be able to work in high volume, fast-paced environment
o Good data entry skills
o Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time
o Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds

Education:

o High school diploma or equivalent
