Manager, DHS Business Development & Sales

Company Brief: Our client is a Billion player in the Federal integration arena and they have developed strong relationships with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).  Our client is an employee-centric firm that provides an excellent work environment, outstanding compensation and superior benefits. At this time they seek a senior level business developer to augment their DHS business unit. 


Job Description: The successful Manager of DHS Business Development will be an expert at business development and sales and will possess a track-record of successfully finding and winning large scale opportunities within DHS.  A solid working knowledge of the Border and Transportation Security, or Science and Technology, or Information Analysis Border directorate is required as is a working knowledge of the GSA Schedules or GWAC and IDIQ contract vehicles that DHS routinely utilizes. Working with an established BD and capture process, you will possess exceptional leadership skills, must be able to quickly adapt to the changing Federal procurement landscape as well as work within a diverse and complex organizational structure.  You will be asked to carry a multi-million dollar per year quota. Compensation will include a base, $130 to $150K plus an AGGRESSIVE incentive plan. 


Qualifications:  10 years of BD or sales within the Federal arena and at least three years selling into DHS. BS/BA preferred. Some travel required. An existing Government security clearance is required.
